Burton Green is a small but vibrant rural village in Warwickshire, which consists of a small network of main roads surrounded by mainly farmland and greenery. The village has a thriving community with a Village Hall, a local Primary School, a new play area and a pub called ‘Hickory Smokehouse’. The University of Warwick is an internationally renowned place of education serving in excess of 6000 students and 120 residents who live on site. The Parish Council meets in the village hall on Red Lane at 7:30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of every month except August and December. These meetings are held in public, everyone is welcome to attend.
